The Shaping Future Classrooms Challenge Submission Deadline Extended Until November 21st

CEA has heard from a number of teachers requesting more time to work with their students to develop a video or photo essay that reflects the change discussions that they're having in their classrooms. CEA acknowledges that the original September 19th contest submission deadline was simply too tight at the beginning of a busy academic year and for this reason, we're extending the deadline to November 21st so that more teachers will have the chance to qualify to win a trip to Toronto to share their students’ ideas for educational change with CEA’s leadership.

This contest will amplify student and teacher voice, encourage additional classroom discussions about change in education, and influence policymakers in the process.

Using The Challenge to Change Discussion Guide, teachers can hold a classroom discussion with their students and produce a 3-5 minute video or photo essay that captures your reflections and compelling ideas for educational change to share with CEA's national network.

The teacher involved in producing each of the top three most ‘favourited' submissions will win a trip to Toronto to present their ideas to the Canadian Education Association.   For more details
